Treadmill for Weight loss and work time

If I had to choose just one thing that keeps me from reaching my goal weight it would be that I’m not active enough each day.
I have noticed that as I spend more time behind the computer and less time on my feet that it is harder to keep from gaining weight. Since my job requires me to be in front of a computer for 8 hours a day there don’t seem to be much I can do about activity level. At least that was what I used to think.

Old treadmill revived as new weight loss solution

I bought my treadmill over 2 years ago. Since that time I have been on it about 30 times total for around an hour or less each time. It is basic I’m guessing that most of us are the same. That all changed last month. I found a company that turns your treadmill in to a tread desk. I thought that was a great Idea so I went out and bought a few materials from my local home supply and built my own.
It works like a charm. I have been on it almost every day for at least an hour. Some days I spend over 4 hours just walking at a 1.5 mile per hour and working. It is much easier than you think to walk and type. This has been a key instrument that I have used as a weight loss solution lately.
Walking on the treadmill is completely boring. But now I have found a way to make it productive.
