 This post is going to be a quick one. In this series (of posts) I have mentioned about 17 (may be 18) solutions for losing weight without diet. Yup, you heard it right, you can actually lose weight without dieting. With some effort and little dedication we all can lose weight and keep it off for good.

Today, the weight loss solution that I will be presenting is going to include some maths as one cannot really deny numbers.

So, here is the thing. If you can burn 100 calories a day (which should not be difficult at all for you, no matter what profession you are in) you would lose 10 pounds in a year, that is 365 days. So which activities are suited best to it and how does burning 100 calories feel.

Well, there are infinite number of ways for you to burn 100 extra calories a day, some of the more popular ways are:

  • Walk everyday for about 20 minutes
  • Alternatively, you can jog for 10 minutes
  • Clean house for 30 minutes
  • Mow the lawn for 30 minutes
  • Plant flowers for 20 minutes (obviously, you cannot do that everyday)

All of these activities will burn about 100 extra calories a day. Provided you make no changes do your diet (the diet which you are on at the moment), these exercises will lead you to lose 10 pounds every year.
